Sharinas Half Orc UOCCC part 3

Lol finally got this done tonight, and not a moment too soon. Especially considering that the deadline for image turn in is sometime tomorrow.

This particular drawing took me roughly a few days of on and off again drawing. Personally I'm not too thrilled with how it came out (I believe I've gone too light in a lot of places, and too dark in other spots), but it's filled with detail, which is what I tend to do to the point of going overboard on.

While I can't say it's better then the previous one I did, I do like it in that I tried something different. It wasn't done in ink (which I've used almost exclusively for a while) and I didn't do heavy outlines. Instead I treated it sort of like a painting and used mostly shading to give it depth and shape. While there are doubtless some outlines to help it with shape and form (her see-through dress and her face for starters) I think for the most part I achieved what I wanted. Aside from the water and the dark shading spots. I don't think I went dark enough nor detailed enough in creating the illusion of water.

Plus the perspective is kind of off.

But still I feel I've learned quite a lot, and I definitely did get out of my comfort zone with this one .

I'm not going to make any qualms or give myself high hopes of winning 1st place in the contest I drew this for. Personally I'm happy making it to the final round with what I've produced before . Lol but if I managed to make the top 3, I think I'll be very happy.

Anyways, I've babbled too much. Critiques are appreciated as always .
